ALBANY, GA -- Rescue efforts are underway on the Flint River to bring in a disabled boat with two victims on-board.

Chief James Carswell of the Albany Fire Department confirmed that Albany Fire crews are on scene, and are working to rescue the vessel.

Chief Carswell also stated that it does not appear to be a life threatening situation, and early reports are that the boats engine died earlier in the evening.
