Dougherty County Police and Westover team up for food drive

ALBANY, GA -- Cheerleaders at Westover High School, did their part to help the less fortunate have a nice thanksgiving.

On behalf of the Dougherty County Police Department, members of both the football and basketball cheerleading squads collected around 350, non-perishable food items, that will be distributed to people in need.

Members of DCP says it's really nice to see young people giving back to the community.
