ALBANY --
The Dougherty County Police Department is investigating a Wednesday night incident after a woman hit her boyfriend with her car on Broach Avenue.

Captain Tommy Jackson says April Martin got into an argument with Christopher Fisher before she got in her car to leave. Fisher allegedly tried to stop Martin from leaving when he was struck.

Fisher was taken by ambulance to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.

DCP is investigating whether it was an accident or intentional and said if it is intentional, Martin could face charges.
