ALBANY, GA --

An Albany Police Officer received minor injuries after a man refused to leave an apartment Friday morning.

Officers say that 41-year-old Octavious Jones went to an apartment at 2100 Pearce Drive and refused to leave. When Jones was being placed in handcuffs, he began to struggle with the arresting officers.

He was then sprayed with Oleoresin Capsicum twice and placed into custody. He has been charged with two counts of obstruction of an officer and one count of criminal trespass

According to officers, Corporal Jameel Gulley sustained minor injuries during the struggle but was treated and released.
