LEE COUNTY, GA. --

A business that's been in downtown Albany for more than 35 years has now moved to Lee County.

Staff members for Modern Gas cut the ribbon on their new building this afternoon.

The new location is on Dawson Road.

Representatives say the move comes because they are expanding the services and products they offer clients.

The business has outdoor gas appliances, fire pits, patio furniture gas fire places, and more.

“We are excited. It's supposed to be a colder than normal winter, so we're excited about being able to provide some folks with some heat,” says Mark Holloway, President for Modern Gas.
