ALBANY, GA --
Students, teachers and faculty donned poodle skirts and leather jackets on Monday at the Lee County Primary School in honor of the 50th day of school.

The 50's themed day allowed students to learn about "then and now" -- a mandatory lesson teachers have to give.

Kindergarten teacher Kim Hunt says they offered coke floats, hula hoop contests and more as a way for students to embrace the 1950's while also learning.
