“Our organization is known throughout the community, region and the Girls Inc. network as one that is fiscally responsible and whose solid, data-backed programming molds girls to be strong, smart and bold. Sherrell will continue to tell and strengthen that story.”

“I am both humbled and honored to be given the opportunity to serve as the executive director of Girls Inc. of Albany, and I am thrilled to take Girls Inc. to new heights,” Alexander said. “The board of trustees, Girls Inc. staff, and, most importantly, the members of Girls Inc., have warmly welcomed me into the family.”

The girls-centric organization is a leader in teen pregnancy prevention as well as underage drinking and drug abuse prevention.
