ALBANY, GA -- Every October, the earth passes through a trail of debris left by Halley’s Comet, causing the Orionid Meteor Shower.
In the Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know if we would be able to see this shower in Southwest Georgia.
According to the Southern Georgia Astronomers Club you will be able to see the shooting starts in Southwest Georgia, with the most meteors being visible Late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Experts say for the best visibility avoid bright lights.
