ALBANY, GA -- Phillip Phillips has announced via Facebook and Twitter the impending release of his new album.

The American Idol winner announced Monday that his debut album would be entitled "The World from the Side of the Moon" and would launch November 19th.

The Leesburg native is currently wrapping up the American Idol Live tour.

The album is available for pre-order on the Amazon website for $16.00.
