Finding jobs anywhere is difficult, but how do you find city job listings?

ALBANY, GA -- Finding a job in a down economy can be difficult, but even harder if you don't know where to look. In our Facebook Story of the Day we asked, "Where does the City of Albany post their job opportunities?"
We spoke with Assistant City Manager, Wes Smith, to find the answer.
"Occasionally we do internal only, particularly if we feel there are candidates that can fill, because we like to move our people up from within, and those are just posted within the departments. Otherwise, external postings we put them on our website," said Smith.
And although the city is not hiring right now, Smith encourages everyone to check the website often for any opening available.
