ALBANY, GA -- Questions have been raised the last several weeks on who is investigating the death of a Warwick Police K-9. Chief David Morris of the Warwick Police Department confirmed Tuesday that the Worth County District Attorney's office will be handling the case.

It had been reported that the District Attorney had rejected the case and that no open investigation was taking place. However officials with the Worth County DA's office say they are currently working a murder trial and will be picking up the K-9 case in the coming weeks.
