ALBANY, GA. -- Albany police have released surveillance video of an armed robbery in hopes that it may lead to a suspect.
Last Thursday night a black male wearing a black covering over his face held up the Subway restaurant located at 912 South Slappey Blvd.
Two clerks were in the back of the store when he entered.
The man jumped over the counter and threatened both cashiers with a small handgun while demanding money from the register.
Three shots were fired but officials say fortunately no one was hurt.
The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
He’s described as a black male, 5 foot 11, 185 pounds.
