ALBANY,GA --
In today's Facebook story of the day, folks wanted to know how they can become a foster parent.

We talked with officials with the Albany Department of Family and Child Services who said to call 1-877-210-KIDS (10877-210-5439) where you can leave your information and a case manager will folow up and schedule an initial consultation.

The entire process of becoming a foster parent can take between three and six months and officials say they are in need of more folks who would like to foster children, as there are only 28 families in Dougherty County.
