Albany police check Wynnsong after bomb threat

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Police Department checked the Wynnsong 16 theater after the Carmike home offices received a bomb threat.

As a precaution, Carmike notified cinemas of the threat and asked local police to check the theaters.

Authorities with APD say that officers familiar with the theater were sent to check it out and nothing was found.
