ALBANY, GA -- Elements Coffee hosted it's first ever blood drive Friday, welcoming the American Red Cross.

The event was held in the parking lot just outside the popular coffee shop, and event planners were hopeful for a big turnout.

"Elements is a really popular place, it's a coffee shop that a lot of students go to. So I said let's try Elements and we asked the owner if we could, and said it was totally fine with him," said blood drive host, Justin Eilers.

The Blood Drive ran from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Elements parking lot and was reported to be a massive success.
