Dougherty County Jail
ALBANY, GA -- The Albany police have made a second arrest in the burglary of
Riverfront Barbeque
.
Albany police say they arrested 36-year-old Jomokenyette Tipton at the Holly Homes Apartment Complex after getting a tip from a citizen.
Officers say the arrest was made without incident and Tipton is being held without bond.
The arrest stems from the late Sunday night burglary of Riverfront Barbeque on West Broad Avenue. Two men broke into the cooler stealing three boxes of meat from the restaurant. Albany police arrested 45-year-old Eugene Kennon Jr. Monday night but were still seeking Tipton for questioning.
