Flood waters in Albany?

ALBANY, GA. --

People in Albany and surrounding areas may be concerned about flood waters rising near their homes, but officials say nearby waterways are far from reaching flood levels.

According to the National Weather Service at this time the Flint River is at two feet. In order to reach flood status, the Flint would have to reach 26 feet or above.

Muckalee Creek, which currently stands at three feet, would have to reach 15 feet.  

The Kinchafoonee Creek is at two feet and would have to reach 13 feet to reach flood status.
