Douglas police are investigating an armed robbery report at a Douglas McDonald's.

DOUGLAS, GA --
Douglas police
say that on July 12th at 6:11 AM, officers responded to the McDonalds at 1300 South Peterson Avenue in reference to a reported armed robbery.
Officers say were told by an employee of McDonald’s that her purse was taken by a black male while she was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot of McDonald's. The black male allegedly pointed a firearm at the person and snatched her purse, then fled on foot.
According to Douglas police, the incident is still under investigation. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to call the Douglas Police Department at 912-384-2222 or the tips line at -912-260-3600.
