Albany police report that Smith was arrested Thursday evening and has been transferred to the Dougherty County Jail.

Albany Police need your help finding a man wanted in connection to the theft of a ring valued at $7000.

Investigators are looking for 35-year-old Joshua A. Smith for a theft that happened on West 1st Street in June. Officers say the victim reported that an unknown person stole a gold ring valued at approximately $7000 from her home.

Smith weighs 195 pounds and is 5'11". Investigators say his last known address was 127 Creek Isle Drive in Leesburg.
