VALDOSTA, GA --
In honor of the Fourth of July, Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta is offering free admission for all previous and current military members all week.

The park says this is a way to say thank you to those who serve our country while celebrating the holiday.

"Members of the military work really hard. They're away from their families a lot of the time and they're protecting our freedom so what better way to say thank you than to offer them free admission now through July 8th," said Wild Adventures Public Relations Coordinator, Micha Hogan.

On Wednesday the park features 18 different activities and entertainment for the Fourth of July which of course includes - you guessed it - an impressive fireworks show.

Wild Adventures asks that members provide valid military identification at the gate to ride free.
