AMERICUS, GA -- Connor Crowley is yet another example of that you are never too young to think of others.

Connor, a 9-year old resident of Macon who is visiting Americus for the summer, recently hurt his ankle and had to use a walker until it healed.

"He tried to use crutches but they were very uncomfortable, so the walker worked much better for him," said Jose Rosa, Connor's stepdad.  "He is feeling much better now, and he told us that he really wanted to donate the walker to other kids who may need it."

As a result, Connor visited Phoebe Sumter Medical Center and donated his walker to the Emergency Room.

"I don't need it anymore because my ankle feels good," said Connor.  "It's decorated with Transformer stickers and I hope it works just as well for someone else as it did for me."
