ALBANY, GA -- First Update (7/3/12)
Albany police reports that Mr. Sims was located by his sister and that he was found in Dawson, Georgia. He returned to Albany around 2:00 AM and was unharmed.


Initial Story (7/2/12)
The Albany Police Department needs the public’s assistance with locating 59-year old Calvin Sims.

Sims has been missing from the Friendship Personal Care Home, located at 723 West Oglethorpe Boulevard, since 6:38 a.m. on July 1, 2012.  

He was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt and blue jeans. He is about 5’11, weighs about 180 pounds, and suffers from dementia.

Mr. Sims may be trying to get back home to Dawson, Georgia or the Albany Marine Base where he “believes” he has a home.
