ALBANY, GA. --

Just as many government entities do around this time this year, board members of the Albany-Dougherty Inner City Authority have balanced and approved their budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

The 2012-2013 budget is set at $50,000.

Officials also discussed selling the Skate Park. Last week a potential buyer approached the board about acquiring the space.

Since then another person has also expressed interest in the park.

“One thing that we need to do first is look at some of the property boundaries as things of that nature and what kind of restrictions to put into the sale to make sure that the Skate Park is always operational,” says Aaron Blair, President of ADICA.

Blair says regardless of whom may purchase the park; it will be there for public use.
