Mayor's granddaughter arrested in purse snatching

ALBANY, GA -- The person in surveillance footage caught stealing a change purse Stop & Shop from a has been arrested.

According to Dougherty County Police Sergeant Chad Kirkpatrick, Narkia Morman of Baconton, Georgia has been arrested in Stop & Shop purse snatching from June 12th.

Tips from Crime Stoppers assisted Dougherty County Police in identifying this individual. She was arrested Monday morning after her grandmother, who is also the Mayor of Baconton, turned her in to the Dougherty County Jail.
