ALBANY, GA --
Residents in the community got a chance to see all the programs Albany Tech has to offer.

The college hosted their seventh annual community, family, and friends day.

Visitors were invited to the campus where they had a chance to talk to representatives from the schools programs, and learn more about certain career paths.

Shirley Armstrong said, "Potential students can find out whether or not they want to go into the program, what the employment rates are, where they can find jobs, what they'll do actually, for each program that we have"

Students we spoke with said the event exposed them to careers they otherwise would have never considered.
