Best bird dogs in the south honored at banquet

The awards banquet was held at Grand Island Country Club Saturday / Ashley Knight

ALBANY,GA --
An association that promotes bird dog field trial activities throughout the south held its annual awards banquet Saturday afternoon.

The Dixie Trace Field Trial Association serves as an umbrella organization for nine charter clubs around Albany.

Many of the top competition quail hunting dogs come from the members of this association.

Saturday, they honored bird dogs in several categories.

The event was held at Grand Island Country Club.
