ALBANY, GA --
Albany Tech held an Honors Day ceremony Tuesday afternoon to recognize spring graduates that will complete their college degree with an honorary title.

Students received awards for academic achievement, like President's List or High Honors, and service commitment to groups such as Skills USA or DECA.

The ceremony was a way to congratulate those for what they achieved while encouraging them to continue on the right path.

"Any pat on the back serves as encouragement for individuals to continue to do their very best in life," said Alfred Hosely, the ceremony’s speaker who also works as a Financial Aid Accountant at Albany Tech.

Hosely, a 1992 Albany State graduate, told the students not to just accept graduation as the end but keep pushing on in the future to be great.
