ALBANY, GA. -- For those of you interested in art, the Albany Museum of Art is offering a new exhibit to draw you in.
An opening ceremony was held at the museum to showcase the works of Dutch artist Henk Pander.
Officials with the museum say the size of the paintings and story behind them makes them unique.
“Much of his work is about the Nazi occupation of his home city. He moved to the United States in the 60s and was really inspired by the space and scale of the American west,” says Nick Nelson, Executive Director for the Albany Museum of Art.
The exhibit will run through July 1st. It is free and open to the public.
