ALBANY, GA -- Lane Price spoke at the Rotary Club of Albany's Luncheon about education.
Price said cutting extracurricular activities, and firing teachers, is not the way to approach a 9 million dollar shortfall.
Residents like John Stephenson agreed, " There does seem to be a lot of administrative positions that are redundant. I think that's probably where we need to look first in terms of cuts, rather them teachers or people who directly affect students in the classroom"
Price is running for a member at large position on the Dougherty County School Board.
