ALBANY,GA --

In today's Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know what would bring southwest Georgia out of a drought.

The answer--a lot of rain!

Chief Meteorologist Mike Morrison says it's because we've been in a drought for so long.

“Our last year with above average rainfall was 2005, since then we're about 75 inches behind for that time period,” says Morrison.

Albany is expected to see average rainfall levels this summer.
