LEE COUNTY, GA -- Lee County’s Palladium Players will close out their 20th Season with a special version of their annual Spotlight Night this coming Saturday night. The annual finale show always features performances by student actors, singers and dancers, but this year the annual showcase will commemorate 20 years of outstanding, award-winning theatre by the Palladium Players. Alumni of the theatre arts program will be the honored guests at this year’s event, and the program will feature performances recalling the plays and musicals that audiences have enjoyed over the past two decades.
“For 20 years, the Palladium Players have brought quality live theatre to the Leesburg/Albany area,” says current theatre director, Dotty Davis. “Looking back over these years in preparation for our Spotlight Night has been thrilling. I think the audience will enjoy strolling down memory lane with us.”
The evening will also include the annual acting and technical awards, as well as the annual recognition of graduating players and the students newly honored as International Thespians.
At a special extended intermission, patrons will enjoy a festive 20th anniversary party, featuring delicious food and drink.
