ALBANY, GA --

The gift of shoes is a simple, yet profound way to benefit people in need while helping the environment at the same time.

Judy Bowles says that 'most of us are so blessed, we’ve got a pair or two of shoes just sitting there collecting dust'. Others in the world aren't as fortunate, especially if they have become the victim of a disaster.

Instead of dropping unwanted pairs in the trash, there is another option.

Your shoes can help protect your feet and Soles4souls has a simple concept: procure shoes and get them to those in need.

Bennett Kesler, a student at Deerfield Windsor Elementary thinks it’ll be helpful to kids in other countries that don’t have shoes.
