ALBANY, GA --
Albany police need your help finding finding a person of interest in the burglary of the Special Effects Barber Shop on South Jackson street.
Investigators are looking for 23-year-old Maurice Sanders. He is described as being 5’10 and weighing 148 pounds. His last known address was 416 Hope Street in Albany.
On April 15th, 2012 around 2:30 a.m., officers responded to Special Effects Barber Shop in reference to an alarm. The victim told police that someone gained entry into his business through west side door. The door had been pried open. Shoes and clothing were taken according to police.
Authorities say that the victim further advised police that he observed a tan 2000 Dodge Durango sped off from behind his building and headed toward an apartment complex on Jackson Street. He stated that there appeared to be four individuals inside the vehicle (supposedly one male and three females). All of the occupants fled the scene. The Durango was returned back to the owner, Sander's mother.
