ALBANY, GA -- Darton College's Servant Leadership program made a stop in the community to help out one of Southwest Georgia's Disabled Veterans.

Leadership students along with Commissioner Roger Marietta cleaned up the property of Mr. Joe Bertelucci.

The Servant Leadership program is set up to help Darton students build a sense of community,  and strong ethical and caring behavior.

Blake Cook, Director of Servant Leadership says "we saw this opportunity and we really wanted to do something with it. The way that we see it mr. Bertelucci has giving us way more than were given him back in fighting for our country, so we were excited at the opportunity to come out here today."

Next semester the group plans to take a trip to New Orleans to help with the devastated areas in the city.
