Car chase leads to drug bust in Poulan

POULAN, GA --

The Poulan Police Department got into brief car chase Wednesday that lead to the arrest of two people.

After stopping the car, two suspects ran in different directions down Isabella Street.  The driver, Anthony Jones pushed a Sylvester deputy before being arrested.  Jones faces multiple charges including DUI, open container, driving with a suspended license, felony obstruction, and possession of cocaine.

The passenger, Jessie Woolfork was arrested and charged with multiple items including possession of marijuana and cocaine, open container, and obstruction.

Both men are in the Worth County Jail.
