This St. Patrick’s Day weekend law enforcement wants you to think before you drink.

Albany Police say if you choose to drink alcohol it’s always a good Idea to make travel arrangements before hand to get to and from destinations.

They also say it’s a good idea to use your resources by having a sober designated driver or a taxi service available.

 Officer Christopher Richardson of the Albany Police Departments Traffic Division says “we still have the shift rotation that we had during the holidays to increase the overlapping shifts that we have. So, we have ample officers on the streets if problems come forth and we will be looking for the drunk drivers.”
