ALBANY, GA --
In our Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know why gas is cheaper in East Albany than other areas.

The crude oil prices are going up day after day because of the uncertainty in the Middle East were we get our supply of oil. As of Friday, we are spending close to $110 a barrel for oil.

We did find out why prices could be lower in East Albany.

“A lot of other things can impact those prices for instance the volume that those stations do might create access for those station owners to better prices from there wholesalers. The more that they're buying, the better the price the more competitive a price they can put out.” said Patrick Detlaan of gasbuddy.com.

Don’t forget you can always get the latest gas prices in your area from our Gas Buddy page.
