GA unemployment numbers drop again

According to the Georgia Department of Labor, the state’s unemployment rate dropped again.

Georgia’s unemployment rate was 9.4% in December 2011. New numbers place Georgia’s January 2012 unemployment rate at 9.2%.

One year ago the state’s unemployment rate was 10.1%. The sectors that saw the most growth include the business services sector, retail, and healthcare.
