ALBANY, GA -- Despite the stormy night we had Saturday; one local church went on, holding a celebration in honor of their founder.

One year ago this weekend, Bishop Tiangelo Hill started up Cathedral Of Praise.

Hill says he felt inspired to start the ministry and has been humbled seeing it grow so quickly.

“I’m humbled by the experience because it still suggests that the lord has placed great favor upon my life and is still giving me influence with people,” says Bishop Hill.

Its first Sunday saw 127 people; it has now grown to over 500 worshippers.

Cathedral Of Praise is located at 714 West Broad Avenue in Albany.
