Robert Andrew Aitken, Jr. is wanted after leading Lee County deputies on a chase and ramming them with his vehicle

LEE COUNTY, GA -- Lee County Sherriff's Office needs your help catching a wanted man who rammed a deputy's vehicle with his own.

On Friday, Lee County Sheriff's deputies say they were going to serve a warrant to Walter Marshall at his home on Augusta Court. Before deputies could serve the warrant, they say Marshall's 1991 Chevrolet truck left the residence with two suspects inside.

Deputies report that they chased the suspects through a number of business parking lots including the DOCO Bank, Winn Dixie, Photography Studio, and Dougherty County Glass. Officers say it was at Dougherty County Glass that the suspect rammed the deputy's driver side door with the truck. The chase continued until the vehicle went into the ditch and the occupants fled, according to the report.

Officers arrested Crystal Lee Marshall, 37, near the scene and charged her with two misdemeanor counts of obstruction of a law enforcement officer. They say Marshall later told deputies that the other driver was not Walter Marshall, but Robert Andrew Aitken, Jr., 40. Walter Marshall was in the Dougherty County jail at the time of the chase, the police report states.

Aitken is wanted on charges of misdemeanor fleeing and attempting to elude, driving with an expired license, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and reckless Driving. He has also been charged with one felony charge of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
