ALBANY, GA -- Saturday night, many in Albany could be found at the Hilton Garden Inn raising money for cancer research.

The fifth annual Hope Gala was a big hit, hoping to raise $45,000 for the American Cancer Society to benefit local mission programs and to help find a cure.

There were live and silent auctions where jewelry, trips to turkey on a yacht, and a guitar signed by Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and others were on the line.

The event was sold out and lasted till midnight.
