ALBANY, GA --
Albany police are seeking the public's help finding someone who robbed a woman at Sherwood Baptist Church on Friday evening.

They say the victim, Diane Proctor, 45, told them a black male approached her in front of the church and asked her about it. According to the police report, that's when he snatched her purse which held a cell phone and checkbooks.

Police say they're looking for the man in the surveillance video; they say he's in his 40s or 50s. Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call the Albany police department (229) 431-2100 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.
