ALBANY, GA -- The American Cancer Society is pulling out all the stops to host its 5th annual Hope Gala of Dougherty County.

The "Toast for Life" themed event sponsors local mission programs as well as cancer research.

Some of the programs set to gain from the Hope Gala include "Look Good Feel Better" and "Reach to Recovery."

The event will be held this upcoming Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn.

A representative for the American Cancer Society says each year the event gets better and better.

“We have a very exciting event planned. It is a black tie optional event. We have a formal dinner followed by a live and a silent auction. We also have entertainment from the Hollywood Band of Macon,” says Jessica Davis, Senior Community Manager.

There will also be a VIP lounge for the gala.

Standard tickets are set at $100, while VIP tickets will cost you 25 dollars extra.
