ALBANY, GA. -- Merry Acres Middle School students were afforded the opportunity to explore their future.

The school put on its 6th Annual Career Fair for students and parents to look into possible career paths.

All colleges from Albany set up booths, along with several representatives from local high schools.

Students had the chance to interact with professionals and get a feel of what path they may want to take.

“We want to make sure that the community as well as our parents knows that at Merry Acres Middle school all of our students are exploring careers so that they can be work ready,” said Merry Acres Middle School Counselor and Career Fair Coordinator Traci Price.

She says informing children of career choices early gives them the flexibility to give it a try and find out if it's for them.
