ALBANY, GA -- Also handing out good cheer was the Salvation Army.

Saturday was the big day--they handed out hundreds of toys to families in need as part of their Toys for Tots campaign.

It happened first thing Saturday morning downtown at the old Belk building.

They were able to help 689 families this year and another 250 out in more rural areas.
