ALBANY, GA -- Good news coming out of the Economic Development Commission!

President Ted Clem gave city commissioners an update Tuesday.

Two companies are adding jobs!

Unifirst, a uniform rental service is an existing Albany company and is adding 40 new jobs.

Meanwhile, a newer company, Dominion Chemical will be creating 10 jobs.

“Dominion Chemical purchased an existing company here in Albany, Frontier Wax and they are reinvesting in that business and will add 10 new employees,” says Clem.

The EDC has also more than doubled the number of visits to their website in the past year.
