ALBANY, GA -- Police have arrested a man they say robbed two gas stations and stole a car Saturday morning.

Officers say the suspect walked into the Flash Floods on North Slappey at about 5 a.m. and took money from the register while the clerk was doing a transaction with another customer.

About three hours later someone matching the suspect description did the same thing at the Express Lane in the 3900 block of Gillionville Road.

Then police got a report that the suspect stole a car from the motel six on Thornton Drive. That car was later found abandoned.

But police got a break when the suspect, 33-year-old Kenya Martin, was found walking down Franklin Street. He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Martin has been charged with two counts of robbery by snatching, theft by taking and motor vehicle theft.
