ALBANY, GA -- Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful has a lot to be proud of lately.

Director Judy Bowles told city commissioners she will be receiving two distinct awards soon.

Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful is ranked second in the state and third in the nation for overall program!

“Our community is just to be commended  because they've really bought into this program. They are about their community and they're willing to give of their time and resources to improve it,” says Bowles.

In the last year, the program has seen 77,000 participants putting in over 240 hours of service.
