Murder suspect turns himself in

ALBANY, GA -- Timothy O’Neal Bell, the man wanted for the murder of 35-year-old Melvin Greene on Wednesday, has turned himself into police.

Officers say Bell walked into the Law Enforcement Center downtown. Detectives are questioning Bell about his involvement, but have all ready have issued warrant for four charges.

“Right now we have four charges pending on him. We're in the process of getting the warrant signed at this time. Those charges are going to be for murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and also possession of a firearm by a convicted felon,” said Albany Police detective Eric Rozier.

Police have already arrested two men in connection with the case; 26-year-old Marcus who’s charged with party to committing a murder and 23-year-old Shongrevius Morgan for hindering apprehension.
