LEESBURG, GA -- Lee County school administrators opened the doors to their school system on a bus tour for the community.

One by one community leaders and members filed off of the bus to get a sneak peak into Lee County classrooms.

Superintendent Dr. Larry Walters says the tour is held each year spotlighting different aspects of the system and schools.

Walters says it helps to open the lines of communication to the public and keeps them informed on how the system's money is being spent.

"We invite the community. We'd love to have realtors and ministers, people who talk to large groups of people. Show them what we do in Lee County and maybe they'd like to move here" said Walters.

This is the fourth year for the tour which is held in October this years tour was the systems most attended.
